The Graduation Ceremony for thirty (30) proud law enforcement officers of the Disaster Victim Identification Investigator Course was held at the Police College on Friday 21st February, 2020.
British High Commissioner Her Excellency Sarah Dickson brought congratulatory remarks.
Acting Commissioner of Police Mr. Paul Rolle delivered the keynote address. He acknowledged the significance of the DVI Course as The Bahamas rebuild in the aftermath of a devastating Hurricane Dorian.
The completion of this course brings the total number of persons trained thus far for 2020 to 378
This includes: 247 police officers, 3 defence force marines, 2 immigration officers, 20 security officers, and
106 members of the National Neighbourhood Watch Council
It also includes 7 persons trained internationally and 15 persons trained via the CBSI Online Platform.
